Hannah Rosenzweig, MPH ‘05
Hannah Rosenzweig, MPH ‘05, is a health communications consultant, documentary filmmaker, and a member of the Mailman Alumni Board. She is currently working with New York City's Executive Deputy Commissioner of Health and First Lady Chirlane McCray on a citywide mental health initiative called “Roadmap to Mental Health for All NYC.” Since serving as Hillary Clinton's personal videographer and producing many videos and television ads for her 2007-2008 presidential campaign, Rosenzweig has directed strategic media for leading women politicians including United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's Off the Sidelines campaign and United States Senator Barbara Mikulski. Rosenzweig has also produced media for health nonprofit organizations and government campaigns about issues of food policy, overdose prevention, and refugee rights.
Rosenzweig has served as a senior fellow and adjunct professor of Health Communications at Hunter College. From 2011-2014, she was a senior fellow at Hunter’s Center for Health, Media, and Policy, where she conducted media trainings and moderated events about the role of media and film in shaping health policy.
Before media, Rosenzweig worked as a researcher and community health worker with a focus on HIV/AIDS. She was a research associate at the Urban Health Study, University of California, San Francisco, and the California Department of Health Services. She holds a MPH in Sociomedical Sciences from the Mailman School and a BA in History from Oberlin College.
