Nicole Cushman, MPH '11

Nicole Cushman, MPH ’11, was named executive director of Answer, a national organization that provides sexuality education and training to teachers and other professionals serving youth and adults. Cushman has almost 15 years of experience as an educator and trainer in the sexual and reproductive health field. She has also helped to affect change in sexuality education policies and programs nationwide. As executive director, Cushman oversees the organization’s education programs, fundraising, and finances.

Prior to her role at Answer, she served as director of education for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Early in her career she worked with teens and parents as a sexuality educator in the San Francisco Bay Area, and recently published a peer-reviewed journal article on promising sexuality education programs across the United States.
