    Research Interests:
The Data Management Unit in Biostatistics has more than 20 years’ experience in creating state-of-the-art data management platforms for a wide range of clinical research projects, from small pilot studies and patient registries to large cohort studies, data coordinating centers, and international clinical trials. The unit also creates and supports a number of administrative applications employed by throughout the medical center and as well as the university at large. The unit currently hosts more than 40 active applications.

Research Interests: Causal inference, environmental epidemiology, survival analysis, omics data analysis.
The aim of my research is the development of statistical methods to disentangle how environmental factors influence chronic and aging diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and dementia. This includes the evaluation of the potential intermediate role of omics, such as epigenomics. My research also focuses on causal inference and how to deal with competing risks in causal mediation analysis.
