Overview

Julia E. Kohn is an experienced researcher and program evaluator with expertise in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights, abortion, violence prevention, and health policy. She served for six years as National Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she led the organization’s clinical and health services research efforts. Dr. Kohn has worked as a researcher for numerous organizations such as the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and the Center for Justice Innovation, overseeing the design and implementation of research for private and federal grants. She holds a PhD in Public and Urban Policy from The New School and an MPA from New York University.
