Rebecca Sale, MPH

Rebecca Rosenthal Sale has spent nearly two decades working in higher education. As the Senior Director of Education in the Department of Health Policy & Management (HPM) at Columbia University, she manages two graduate degree programs, executive education initiatives, enrollment, special events and activities within the department. She is involved with innovation and entrepreneurship efforts for the Mailman School of Public Health, and currently teaches a class on strategic professional communications and development. Prior to working at Columbia, Rebecca was a case manager at Green Chimneys Children's Services and an Analyst at Accenture. Rebecca is currently serving as Board Chair for Fresh Youth Initiatives (FYI), a non-profit that works with low-income, immigrant, and first-generation youth living or attending school in the Washington Heights/Inwood neighborhood in New York City. The principal goals of FYI are to assist children and teens to flourish in school; navigate transitions; get on track for college and career; and give back to the community with compassion and care. Rebecca has been involved with FYI since college where she worked in the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives and volunteered in Detroit communities.
