Data Science for Public Health Summit

For four years, Columbia Mailman School of Public Health has held the Data Science for Public Health Summit. At these events, faculty leaders and researchers across Columbia University and beyond come together to discuss how they are using data science in public health research and practice for the benefit of society. This year's Summit focused on data science in climate research, pandemic preparedness, and the role of large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT in public health and society.
