The Governance Academy
Center for Public Health Systems Governance Academy
The Center for Public Health Systems is developing a Public Health Governance Academy (the “Academy”) for public health officials and for the policymakers (elected and appointed) who supervise their work.
The Academy will include a Professional Education Program (delivered both in-person and via asynchronous online modules) and a Public Health Governance Library (an online repository of resources). The Educational programs will provide a well-designed overview of the history, politics, and organizational dynamics of the public health system, along with skill-building sessions targeted to the different needs of public health managers and the policymakers they work with.
The Academy aims to develop and design these educational programs in collaboration with organizations that represent both the public health workforce and the policymakers that guide them.
Please fill out this form to be contacted by Beth Bird, Director of Professional Education, for further information about a potential collaboration.
