The activities of the Climate and Health Working Group are centered in Mailman’s Climate and Health Program, one of the first programs in the U.S. dedicated to research and education at the nexus of climate and health.
Recent work includes studies of climate influences on viral infection, transmission and forecast (Shaman), resilience of NYC public housing residents to climate changes (Hernández, Shaman, Evans), relations between air pollution and climate (Jack, Chillrud, Kioumourtzoglou), energy research (Hernández), impact of climate change on labor supply (Neidell), and impact of climate change in low- and middle-income countries (Ahsan).
